What is Clogging?

Clogging has been around in Australia for the last 30+ years but is more commonly known as an American Folk Dance, with its traditions developing from the roots of early European settlers migrating to America in the 1700’s.  Clogging is a percussive dance with notable similarities to Irish and Highland dancing, but also having influence from other forms of traditional step dance from around the world.  Clogging continues to adapt today, taking on urban styles, with the influences of tap, latin and even hip hop.
